Oops....I did it again
I just completed my 4th sr20det swap. This time, it was finally for MY 240SX. Also, it's the only one I've done on a car with ABS, and Super HICAS. Those two things added some complexity...but I took leave and got the swap done in almost exactly one week. Here's what I used:
SR20DET w/approx 50,000mi
JDM HKS intake
JDM HKS 2.5" exhaust
JGY Customs 2.5" testpipe
XTD stage 3 6-puck clutch
JDM JUN cromoly flywheel (came with the engine...SCORE!)
JDM OEM radiator
It's also got:
MR springs
KYB GR-2 shocks
JDM Gewalt 17x8 rims
JDM Bridgestone Grid 235/45-17 tires
R32 Skyline seats
From the factory:
Super HICAS
ABS
VLSD
The car drives awesome. I still have a couple little things to do (like install a turbo timer). The engine idles perfectly. I can't believe how smooth it is. Anyway, here are the pics of the swap:
