what kind of intake pipe do you have steel or aluminum? all you need to do is pick a place on your intake to mount the b.o.v mark a spot and and cut a hole, lay the flange for the b.o.v (i hope you have one) and weld the flange in place.then you will put the rubber o ring into the flange and install b.o.v and then the C clip,it helps to have the tool to put it in.then run you vacume line to the engine, pretty much any where you can T into the line.a plastic T will work fine.dont foget the little ssq filter that goes in line to the vacume on the engine. if you cant weld ive seen people use jb weld,i welded mine. all this will work for you, unless you car came with a turbo and b.o.v.then you will need to buy a flange for your car.

from the vaugeness of your question and self proclaimed lack of knowledge this will not be a DIY type project for you. it will require fabrication (cutting and welding) unless you can find a kit that will bolt onto your car. i'd suggest taking it to a shop to have it done, if you bring them the flange and the pipe then they can do the fabrication part and you can simply bolt the pipe back in and run a vacuum line.

on some cars a flange is not needed for installing an aftermarket blow off valve. my friend didnt need one for his eclipse.
