    Default Idle question....

put a new radiator in... and a new iacv... (radiator has nothing to do with this i know) well the car started up fine.. but was still motor boating... then it started this wierd sputtering/reving... once the car got nice and warm it quit... completely... but my check engine light came on and the car idles at about 3000 rpm... (its a 93 hatch w/b18a1)

anyone have any ideas or suggestions??? car seems to run fine.. still pulls hard.

i thought maybe an o2 sensor, but would that cause it to idle high???

This might not be it but SOMETIMES the computer has to "relearn" when you put on certain things, like the iacv or battery. try just turning the key on anf off a couple of times. Again this might not be the problem.

here are two things u can do ... see if u are low on coolant....it does have an effect in the idling....and also check if u plug up the plugs for the iacv and the egr right....switch them and see if it still idle...
