EDIT: The 16.1 was run BEFORE PS and AC removal, shifter bushings, and was run on full pressure pep boy special tires. With my Hoosiers I was hoping to be able to get HIGH 15s and a 2.1 60 ft with a real launch! lol

Well it started out as a joke just to have eye lids until I could afford the Diamond Clear head lights and make some vinyl ones, but I never got that far.But yes, it really did have electrical tape eye lids.
Before:
I had to sand down those little nubs and stuff on the housing of the head light:
After, if you look closely you can see the lines where the electrical tape over lapped. Over all not a bad job for 1/2 hour and 5 cents worth of electrical tape:

Well after my mechanic fucked me over 3 times on this rebuilt engine (a $6,000 mistake) I was planning on keeping it forever. Than it started being well... a Neon. Chyrsler products are know for 3 things, how good their suspentions are, how bad their automatic trannys are and wierd electrical problems that never seem to go away. Well that latter of those started happening to me and I just got sick of it, sold the car not running for $1000 took the $10,000 kick in the nuts, (bought the car and a minivan load of extra parts for $5,000) and bought an MR2 that I promptly wrecked. I just dong have good luck with cars, lol.

yeah i was gonna do the eyelid thing but i got a CF hood so now i need CF eyelids. all u gotta do man is go to a hobby store and buy a sheet of viynal...tape is just sad.lol.
yea one of mah boys works for sign guy!!!!!...i just wanted to know the procedures for putting tape on the headlights.........sounds like a lot of work.........preciate u though chad............1
Tape is just sad, but it was funny and wasnt going to be permanant, so I wanted cheap instead.

well the thread is SUPPOSED to be about what Dodges we have here in the ATL but people got side tracked by my JDM electrical tape eye lids... lol. so post up what you got! numbers and such! Nitro, is that the second or third gen Neon? it looks like the third based on the fact there are not turn signals next to the lights but i know people up north who have put the 3g head lights in their 1 and 2g cars. and with that much show, you gotta (or better! lol) have some go! whats done to it?

ok enough of the JDM pimp tyte tape eyelids....LOL!!! i have a 05 SRT-4 with a weapon R shortram intake, 3 inch downpipe and MSP 3 inch exhaust, eibach springs, hotchkiss sway bar set and DC sports front and rear strut tower bars, fiber images CF hood. and as soon as i can find some electrical tape nitro won't be winning anymore shows cause the trophey's will be in my trunk.

yes it does. but i'm okay with it now and i really was iffy about getting my SRT cause i was like" can i live with myself knowing i drive a neon?" but i love the car now and knowing what i know now, i relize neon or not, its just can't be beat for the money. i paid 17K for a 2005 SRT with 12k miles on it. drop 4k more in it and i'll run 11's all day.
