    Lightbulb

tps? maybe thats what it sounds liek .probe it with a volt meter .key on engine off and open ur throttle slowy pas the dead spot then slowy back to close . u should get

    throttle close around .5 volts

fully open just bellow 5 volts

and in between should gradually go up to 5 volts..

see if you has an actual dead spot

    Default CARB

On the 4ac engine the carb likes to go bad so get a rebuild kit or a new carb from weber performance...or maybe the vacum lines are wrong but i would be happy to take a look at it!! ive got the same car so give me a shout back

    Peace..JP

It might be your vacume advanced on distributor, that wears out.
