My friend has a nice Type-s, and the interior on those are real nice, but that is probly not a main concern of yours. Thats a really tough choice....not sure what I would pick.

I've never driven an ITR but the type-s is nice; I had fun driving it. personally, i don't think the rsx is common (I rarely see them, plus theyre being discontinued starting last month...more rare ). I'd pick type-s

Damn, I've seen this debate alot. The type-S is more of a comfy luxury daily driver, while the Type R is edged more towards the track. I'd go with the Type R.

RSX if you live in an area with a high theft rate. If you get a type-r, you'll have to deal with the paranoia of that shit being stolen...trust me, it sucks!

I'd say the ITR. I've driven the DC5 type S, but the DC2 feels raw. There's no denying the K series though. I'm a little biased.

    I agree with Blk...

Driven 3 examples of the Type R...great track car. Not too refined, but very quick. But I would recommend the Type S.

I own/drive an '05 Type S on a daily basis...very nice ride (and surprisingly quick). If you are wanting a very nice daily driver with a sport-minded attitude...invest in a clean (un-molested) Type S.

    Some other points to consider:

    1. As mentioned in a few previous posts, theft rate with ITR is much higher...tends to lead to higher insurance costs.

    2. Loan value on ITR is much lower...banks don't tend to care about the "collectability" factor adding value. Therefore, you will be upside down if you finance as much as you can with the ITR...If you ever have it totaled/stolen, your recovery value will be less than you have invested.

    3. The K20 is the future of Honda tuning...B series motors have already reached their potential...in the not too distant future, bolt-ons and technology for these motors will dry up a bit (so they will become a bit more costly to modify).

    4. All that being said...there is just no denying the mystique that surrounds the ITR...for that reason alone it would be worth owning one (if even for a short period of time before you go out and buy a Type S) if you can afford the drawbacks.

    Cheers!

although they are both very nice and the dc5 has the more interior features and luxury but the dc2-R is more rare and is more sought after

The k20 has more potential and is more responsive to mods than the b18.

as a type-R pimp i would have to say that the DC2 is by far the best. Unfortunetly I had to sell mine due to an accident that i had, but soon I will have another but this time it will be a right hand drive.....
