i've seen several Z32's sliding. i'd imagine the reason for people not using them is the weight and general cost of the car and it's parts, not so much that it's some wildly unbalanced machine like a lot of people try to make it out to be.
best bet, sign up for a drift event and get some seat time with an instructor in the car. it's the only way to learn properly and not likely to get your car wadded up.
