I will make try to make it!! What time you wanna be there?! Was there last Thurs. night and had alot of fun. I like cars of all kinds so I could care less who drives what. I used to watch a friend of mine back in the day whip 5.0 mustangs in his 4 door Dodge Omni GLHS turbo (stock). Car was ugly as sin but it was fast!! Point being that I see potential in almost every car. I'm trying to get my car ready for this years F-body Gathering 10. I've been doing this and that to it tryin to get it ready for Memorial Day weekend. Tryin to make the tranny hold on till after. Guess I can see what you guys think of it Friday and......be gentle...LOL!!! Let me know a time and I'll do everything I can to make it Fri!!

Thanks...had all sorts of issues with it yesterday...hence the hanging wire out of the grill, but thats all fixed now...Always good to have some local j-body guys around as the l-body is usually the bastard cousin no one talks about.

Retta Z26's held their own in the streets for a good minute back in the late 80s early 90s!

Z26 is just a body style and slight suspension upgrades...They were only made after 92 and just had a plane jane 3100 in them. The did look significantly better than the stock model though. As far as performance wise, the GTZ's were the good ones and those came with the HO Quad 4. I am happy with my 91 Gt though. It's got the older 3.1L in it but with the suspension upgrades, is fun in the corners and also isn't doin too bad on torque although hp numbers are pretty dissapointing. All said and done, there really isn't much difference between my 91 Gt and a 91 Cavi with a V6. Most of the drivetrain and suspension parts are actually interchangable. The bad side is there is very little aftermarket or following for the retta's, much less than even the Cavi's.

The quad wasn't a bad engine at all...it has been a while, but if I can remember. 2.4L 210hp and 190tq? Alltogether, not a bad try for a domestic 4cyl in the late 80's
