eh, the vsv would be likely to cause a low lumpy idle. I've had mine bypassed for over a year now and it makes no real difference in the cars operation while it's running aside from the rpm dropping real low and climbing back up when you stop at a light.Originally Posted by blacknightteg
I tell this to everybody... if you don't know... bring it to a friend or mechanic that does. Most mechanics will give you a free estimate as far as what the problem is. The local shops used to hate me because I always took the free checkups and fixed the car on my own.
Diagnostic tools are a godsend.
