But I need a starter for mine. I can't seem to sell it, don't really want to because I like it, but anyone know where I can get a starter to see if this thing will crank up? It is a 1983 Jetta with the 1.7L fuel injected engine. If anyone can hook me up, thanks. Later, QD.

im guessing you have tried pepboys, autozone, and/or VW dealer. If they cant get it, which i doubt. EuroTec of Atlanta should be able to get it. One of the dudes that works there had like 53 vdubs, bryan. I think he is the owner. Hope that you getting running, quickdub.

Lolol. They have the part. But it is $75 and I didn't want to get a starter and not know if after the car starts, there is more wrong with it. Later, QD.
