    Default alternator help

Right, so as proven before, I don't know much bout cars. I love to drive them, and mess with the the apperance, but as for the mechanics..ha. Anyway, my alternator is dead and I was curious if a used one is as good as a new one. I know they power the car and keep the batt charged, so I was wonderin if there's a certain one I should get to power my car and system? Let me know. Thanks

used/rebuilt is as good as new.. plus most from stores like Advance Auto or Napa come with lifetime warranties
