That is kinda retarted... People should know not to tail a bike. I know occationally I'll see a bike comin up behind me fast and I'll ride WITH him/her at high speeds but i make it obvious that I'm not trying to pass them or race, nor do i tailgate them. I usually stay a lane over and let them lead...

Those people I don't mind, I assume that when some one "rides along side of me, it's because they love to see the bike run, sort of speak. It's the idiots that cut me of for no reason and tail gaters that pisses me of.
