on the tsx boards supposedly in 2008 the rsx is getting replaced by a 2 door TSX with a turbo and AWD to compete with the new bimmer 335i. they'll have a sedan version of this too i think.

but then again this is all just rumor and speculation

Honda models that should be brought back, even if they were special editions:

    CRX
    Integra
    Prelude

I ono about you guys...but everytime Honda creates something good. They discontinue it for some reason. Like the CRX, Prelude, S2K, NSX, and now the RSX. Fudge nowadaiz the only think good coming out of the Honda line is the Civic Si, Fit(eh) and the Acura TL Type S. Seriously Honda needs to rethink something out because there dangerously looking like Toyota. No real authetic sports car. I swear...Im scared for them.

And for the sports car what I mean is like coupes like lightweight body and what not. CRX NSX the old school Preludes and the S2K. But Toyota has that sissy SC430 that no one is going to drive. Only grandmas and grandpas or ppl who think that car is sexy.

actually the NSX will be re-released by Honda in 2008 or so. i saw the article somewhere but just google if you don't believe me. and i think the rsx needs to get killed anyways because it's like a mutt holding down the Acura name. look at the TSX vs RSX. the tsx has HIDs, navi, great interior, and the RSX has well...an engine. i'm definitely behind honda keeping the civic si and ditching the rsx since there's going to be something under their sleeve in their future anyways.

i'm a little sad the s2000 had to go though... this 2006-2007 model looks AMAZING.

Didn't the 05 come out on the lemon list?

And this has been beat to death in RSX forums... its done. TSX Coupe is most likely and same as the TSX sedan but two door.

Personally, it doesn't kill me that the CRX is gone (no offense guys) and I loved the prelude but all things come to an end. They do all things for a reason. The import world rioted at the discontinuation of the Integra but, in my opinion, came back better than before in the RSX. Honda has always and will always be a great car company.

Any engine that can push like 450hp stock is crazy... 700+ with built engines...

The K20 may be the best engine Honda ever built. But then again, I'm a lil partial.

Either way, the fact they aren't making MY car anymore, haha, doesnt bother me. It's not ideal but Honda hasn't jacked anything up too bad so far. Cars can't be made forever. However, 5 years is a lil short and I worry that it may hurt the aftermarket potential a little but many companies are still developing newer parts so we'll see.

Acura is trying to compete with Lexus and Mercedes. They wont more luxury type cars. I get the impression anymore Honda-made sports cars will be branded with an "H' and not a "A'

well pretty much the closest thing the US has gotten for a ITR in teh DC5 chasses was the 02-04 ASPEC RSX, lip kit, rims, shift knob, brakes...then with the 05s they got ITR front and rear lips, ITR final drive, suppose to be ITR cams, because of the PRC label, ITR airbox, exhaust, and wheel size. if the 02-04's came with the same stuff the 05-06, you'd pretty much have a usdm itr like the 96-01's.

Honda won't take the chance of bring the "Integra" name back cause that would ( in there eyes) hurt them marketing wise, but we all know if the DC5's were called the Integra Type S Honda woulda sold alot more of them even the base models as well.
