GTI-R in a Civic?

I made 300whp on my avenir motor...similar to gti-r but with smaller turbo, smaller injectors stock, and I don't have ITBs.

There, $3600 and I was making 300whp and that was on my t25. You can make that on a t28 that the gti-r comes with as well.

According to jarco's website, their b16s and b18s can cost as much as $3600...

ok so where's the extra $3k+ to have a shop do the fab work to even get that pile of parts into the civic?

holy hell. you havent seen a 300 hp b series?? have you not seen some of the ISP cars or any from mainstream?? i know isp has built some powerplants and im sure mainstream has too.

for the custom fab work to get it all in the car and working you could just do a boosted B-series and make a lot more power with less hassle.

engine swaps like that just don't work well unless you plan on making your own everything and it's solely a race car. you'd likely need to run a full set of aftermarket gauges due to the nissan ECU/sensors not working with the honda stuff, of course the custom work to get the engine even in the car (plenty of relocation and cutting/welding/fabrication), i'm sure custom axles, custom exhaust, a whole lot of time with wiring diagrams trying to make various functions work, etc. when you're done you have a stock ass motor in the car with no extras.

of course it'll go in the 200sx, it's the same engine platform as the pulsar so it's a bolt-in affair on that car.

theres alot more work as hipsi pointed out other than hooking up the shit and tuning it. while we're at it, lets drop a viper motor in a 240

SR swaps are easy.

You said show you a gti-r that would cost less than a b16 to get to 300whp.

I showed you a motor that has less power then the gti-r stock and how cheap it was for 300whp.

If you aren't mechanically inclined that isn't my fault. Things cost you more money then.

Also, you can question my prices, that is the amount that I paid when I did everything for my swap and my car. I got it tuned at batlground, Dan can tune he knows, how I don't know where you get your work done but it shouldn't take hours upon hours to tune an e-manage when it has a base map for your car...

lol, this isnt even my car man, but youre right. i was just saying. yes, if you want a sr, it is cheap to get 300 hp. the not cheap part is getting it into the civic, which at that point, you will spend alot more with the "unique" swap than you would a more common one. but yes, since you are right almight nissan god, and you can fabricate and get all the shit cheaper, you just owned me.

What's wrong with putting a GTI-R engine in a Honda, who gives a fuck...don't see too many people bitching about the TDF TISMO conversion? Screw the pulsar, a complete Sunny GTI-R front clip is cheap...under $2k the last time i checked. Minus the 237whp monster vteckidd is selling you're not gonna get a decent b-series swap for that price. Of course you have alot of fabrication to do...

When i first discovered/learned about the Sunny GTI-R i wanted one, 227hp stock...then with all the DOT, EPA, & registration bullshit I said screw it...i wanna see the complete powertrain and drivetrain in a EG hatch, AWD and all...the hardest part would be finding the driveshaft and rear end but to see a civic hatch doing flat spins in a parking lot would be priceless

Since when did the pulsar come with a transfer case? It's a whole lot easier to fit a driveshaft and rearend then find a transfer case that will bolt up to an SR20 don't you think? The entire next paragraph explained why i wanted a Sunny GTI-R
