Just route dryer hose to the air filter. Or remove the little plastic plate behind the headlights, and make a little custom heatshield from steel (homedepot has big sheets for like $10).

IM sure u could fab up everything, just finding the intake "cone" (if u will) could be tricky. I would call autofab, im sure the setup on thier e30 racecar is tried and true. Normally u dont want that kinda stuff to fall apart, so call autofab and if its a decent price, buy it! if not, copy itlol
