I was trying to be nice suggesting the s/c. The kit sells for between $2,000.00 to $2,500.00 and if the owner can't do the work, he doesn't need to be trying to improve his car because it's an easy install. In reality, I would agree to sell the car and buy something else with more potential. I really never have understood a lot of Honda owners. I sincerely mean no offense but why mod a car that's going to be slow no matter what you do unless you spend a load of money and destroy it's reliability.Originally Posted by sebastianHoff
if you do it right you dont destroy the reliability any more than any other modded car. i still get 30mpg, i still have a/c, heat, nice interior, rides good for a lowered car, runs 12's and nothing major has happened to it yet. ive been driving it for a while now and have put nearly 10,000 miles....10,000 hard miles on it. its amazing what happens when you buy good quality parts and take your time and research to get shit doneOriginally Posted by Cool Cat GTR
I know this guy and he speaks the truth. He and some of his associates get the most out of Hondas. And on reasonable budgets too.Originally Posted by japan4racing
I agree with Japan4racing just save up for a turbo kit thats what im doing.
And If you do it right and dont take the cheap way out and know the limits on your setup then you will be able to maintain reliability.
And I wouldnt go with a S/C just because everyone that i have ever know with one was not as happy with it as a fast spooling turbo.
I believe its just a chip.ya i have hear nother but good things about uberdata, but dont know anything about this. is this something where they just chip ur ecu, or is this like a modulator?
But im still a noob to Uberdata...
