    Default oil cooler

    can i use a auto trans radiator with a built in trans cooler in a 5 speed car and use the trans oil cooler to cool the engine oil for a turbo?

    Just use stainless lines with an fittings and you'll be fine.

    Yeah I've done it before. Its reliable just keep checking for leaks and dont put it anywhere that rocks can fuck it up.

    im talkin about the kind that is built in the actual radiator.i think your talkin about the external kind if rocks are a problem.still the same?

    its a good idea but i dont know. auto trans fluid is really thin compared to motor oil.

    i think it would work fine. if anything i think atf is thicker than motor oil.
