Crank Pulley Help

I have been hearing a mild "wobble-chirp" (Best description I can give) when my engine is running, cold or opp. temp. I took a look under the hood to see if it was a belt that was loose but I noticed that the Crank Pulley had a slight wobble to it. I did some research into replacement and found this in the AEM FAQs...

"Why doesn’t AEM make a crank pulley?"

"Virtually all of the cars we make Tru-Power pulleys for come equipped with a vibration dampener mounted to the crank from the factory. Aftermarket crank pulleys require the removal of these dampeners, which are required for engine life. Their removal can cause damage to your engine over time. If the manufacturers could save on vehicle costs by eliminating this device they would have done so."

This leaves me stumped. Any suggestions?

I'm not quite sure what your question is, but i would at least try to pull and re-set the pulley. I wouldn't go for that "pulleys wobble on a lot of engines" post. What might be a slight wobble to you may be a death wobble to someone else. If your pulley is wobbling you'll be ok for the short term... but eventually it will help to warp your crank.

If you were asking about the damper system... Some cars are fine with aftermarket, undersized, or un dampened pulleys. It really depends on the application. Placing an undampened crank pulley in the mix puts the crank under the stress of impact and vibration it wasn't exposed to before.(well it was, but they were damapened) It's not going to be an instantaneous affect unless your crank is already in shitty condition. From what i understand it's internal impacts such as detonation that the dampening system is made for.

I grabbed this link of an mk3 supra board a month or so ago when i was looking into aftermarket pulleys.
