Get the cheapest eBay sleeve you can find with a decent spring matched up with whatever shock you get. Don't even bother running stock shocks on an upgraded spring.

nm, it's too much work for the average person to come out cheaper...you can go out and get an Omni "coil-over" sleeve setup for under $200...448lb front and 336lb rear springs then run that with stock shocks until you can a $200-300 more for good shocks that can handle that spring rate....otherwise you can just go out and spend $500-600 on a basic coil-over dampener setup and be done.
yeah thats pretty much where i'm at right now... lookin for a good spring/coil setup that will withhold stock struts for a short period until i get some good shocks....
