i know i need good shocks and i know this question has been asked a million times....

but i guess im just havin the same problems deciding... a lot of these companies offer the same stuff.. i just dont know which might be more reliable... ground control c/o look nice cuz they come with eibachs... but skunk2s look nice too...
as well as neuspeed/eibach/h&r/tein springs lol.... and i dont know which is better coilovers or just springs?

well i guess its all about what you want.
I know my current suspension works really well
I've got a 2" drop w/ eibach springs, KYB gen2 struts,
and poyl urethane bushings and it works great.
not to bouncy.

but like i said its all up to what you want

ok cool... yeah i want a pretty decent drop... not slammed or anything like that... i'm guessin like 1.7 - 2 in. -- good handling and ride quality

You could get ground control coils and use stock struts and be ok, just gotta adjust them from time to time. Or get skunk 2 coils... they have as much as a 2.5" drop, buy the camber arms and KYB struts.

yeah i was lookin at GC and skunk2... both are around the same price range... don't know exactly what the difference is.... i know GC has eibach springs which is more appealing.. but friend's have had skunk2s with only good things to say... lol i think im just makin this too difficult

Ground control is adjustable and skunk2 is a direct spring that cant be adjusted. Personally I like to have control over my suspension. And its a cheap way to do it with GC instead of paying 1k for tein. You could do skunk 2 for a very nice drop with the struts and camber arms and be alright- actually skunk2 with camber arms and struts are a *LITTLE* more than GC on ebay. Also look at what you can afford.

Get the cheapest eBay sleeve you can find with a decent spring matched up with whatever shock you get. Don't even bother running stock shocks on an upgraded spring.

I personally do not like using the word CHEAP and SUSPENSION in the same sentence. TO each his own though. I do not take shortcuts on my rides... or "cheap"cuts. I say go w/ Skunk2 all the way. You get what you pay for most times. Not to mention if you ever upgrade or go back to stock, you can move (sell) used S2 Coils faster than you can move Bobs Suspension Company and Taco Shop Coils.

nm, it's too much work for the average person to come out cheaper...you can go out and get an Omni "coil-over" sleeve setup for under $200...448lb front and 336lb rear springs then run that with stock shocks until you can a $200-300 more for good shocks that can handle that spring rate....otherwise you can just go out and spend $500-600 on a basic coil-over dampener setup and be done.

yeah thats pretty much where i'm at right now... lookin for a good spring/coil setup that will withhold stock struts for a short period until i get some good shocks....
