I just would try and do things that were more or less functional, rather than look a certain way. By all means make your car look the way you want it, but there should be some sort of purpose to what you're putting on your car. For example - 19 inch rims, look good, yes. Functional? Not really. Tires are extremely expensive compared to 17s or 18s, they're very heavy, and the power needed to rotate them is increased. The tires you'll have to put on them are prolly 30 or 35 profile, so one nice pothole and you've just blown a tire and bent an expensive rim.
