    Default Jeep dosent crank

Ya so I know that this isnt the right forum but I know some of u guys go wheeling and know alot of shit about cars.....dont flame

Me and my buddy Jeff went wheeling today in my stock 92 wrangler. While we were out on the trail it stalled out and well would'nt crank. It dosent make any noise when I turn the key and def does not try and crank when I turn it either. I have the fuse taken out but dont know much about fuses. I beilive it is a blown fuse because it is brown/black on ONE prong on the end going into the little box (box meaning the actual fuse not the fuse box). It is a black square box about 1x1 inch with 5 prongs sticking out. Help would be MUCH apprectiated considering im 15 and my parents still have no idea about it or the fact that I was even driving it today let alone out on fucking trails and shit. And my dad comes home tomorrow from a buisiness trip so I am basically fucked if it isnt a fuse. If it is not a fuse and it is a starter does anyone have one that I can get from them Tomorrow ASAP.

I can get pictures of the fuse if u need them.....also from the ride LOL

in all honesty, it could be bunches of stuff, and the fuse aka little 1x1 box sounds like a relay. if anyone is gonna help u, theyre prob gonna need more info. im not trying to be a dick, but seriously...does it have gas? i mean if u werent so far id try to help, but its just a tad bit too far for me to drive. good luck though

I mean ya all the little stuff works, lights, radio, all the elec. stuff so it isnt the battery. We Poped the clutch so I know all the spark plugs and ETC. work. It has been fine after I poped the clutch today as long as I didnt turn it off or stall or some shit. I am fine if I do that but If I try with the key I get nothing, I have found that I can hear the smallest buzz when I turn the key, belived to be comming from the fuse box.

If that helps any, if there is anything else I can answer tell me.

No I got some friends to tow get us on a hill we poped it and washed that shit before my mom got home. She dosent suspect anything because nobody drives it. But my dad will on the weekends when he is home because it is pretty nice outside.

id say check to hear the relay click when u try to turn the key, then check to see if u have voltage down to ur starter and if the wires are connected well but be careful bc the starter is always hot!!!(lots of electricity thatll practically weld a wrench to it if u complete the circuit) and if all thats good id say bench test the starter

I do NOT hear the click. That was one thing that I noticed today and all the dash lights are slightly lit trying to light up all the way.

Jeep 4.0's had one problem that was a common occurance, the crank sensor. It is on top of the transmission and has a bolt and plug in. It is very easy to do. Check that first.
