I totally agree with you on that Val. That's why I don't really go there and take in most of the crap people put on there. All they do is talk about how much power they want and what size turbo they want.......My motto is "stop talking and start BUILDING."

Yeah, there a lot of 500whp plus stock block Sti's. All it takes is a big turbo,tuning, and money. A stock block Sti with 500whp or a stock block Wrx with 400whp are not going to last. Any good shop should be able to get the same numbers. Some don't like to due to reliability at those levels. I'm not defending either shop. I tune my own cars and have been very happy with the results. I don't have High HP internet bragging rights but all it would take is a bigger turbo. Most of the guys that push the stock blocks that high are planning on going with a built block anyway. I know I'm not going to push my Sti motor that high until I get a built block, but my Wrx is my daily driver.

Anyway, I don't get out much to meet the subaru community. Where do most of you hang out? I'm in Athens and I plan on going to the Tuner Fest and Drag maybe Show.
