    lemon.... the Evo we have here is Evo 8... the 8 signifies that there were 7 previous models before it though they weren't released in the US... actually, IA sucks because of people like you, this thread itself is an example of how you keep saying stupid shit (fwd>rwd, lancer>miata) and your refusal to accept that you might not know everything there is about cars. The moment you go slap some real tires on that lancer and hit up several autocrosses is the moment I give the lancer and you some props.

    theres a turbo Lancer that will run a 10 flat...seen it, its in a super street from a few years ago...

    Not really, Road Race Motorsports has a turbo kit for 5k and all the other needs for really good prices, I would say with 10k you could do just as much damage...

    Im not really sure why people down the Lancer, I know it is FWD and only puts out about 100 to the ground, if your lucky. But over all, with money it will be fast, just like any other car. Not trying to argue, its just that its not a bad first street car...would not advise racing it...but still a good car.

    And here is there stage 2 turbo kit. Perfectly street legal. And thats JUST the turbo kit, no other upgrades.

    All I wanna know is why this car gets SOO much crap, but other people with D series civics are not getting roasted...I love civics dont get me wrong, just seems wierd..

    220 something horsepwer with a "stage 2" turbo kit? Thats why I dont like them.

    D series civics are slow too. Most of them know not to open their mouth though. Lancer guys that say Mitsubishi races their cars and Evos just came out in 03 blah blah ignorance blah blah. Makes me laugh. I dont like any car with 0% potential.


    And don't give me this I can't afford an Evo bullshit. Thats fine but there are plenty of good handling and fast cars to be had for less than what new Lancer ES's cost.
