what the hell kinda forum is this? someone is arguing that a lancer is a better car than a miata? i don't see any spec lancer series...
FWD exists only because of easier packaging for manufacturers and dumb americans not knowing how to drive because they also try to eat, put on makeup , and talk on their cellphones at the same time. I drive a RWD car in the rain all the time and its fine if you're not an idiot.

AWD is overrated, think about it...the only time its an advantage is on corner exits, in daily driving having AWD only increases drivetrain losses. Just modulate the throttle and you won't need AWD in wet conditions.

If you're gonna argue with someone, at least make valid arguments, sissy fit insults don't really count lol. BTW, did you know that Neons actually have a pretty good showing in solo 2 autocross? When Dodge released the Neon it became quite popular amongst grass roots racers... which is ALOT more than what I can say for Lancers... I have never seen any lancer at any bona fide racing event, mostly just wannabes with whatever intake and exhaust so and so magazine featured buzzing around on the street hangin out at the gas station pretending to be racers.

Regardless, I'm sure if you actually knew what you were doing any car can be a formidable and fun car, but I don't think you know what you're doing, and you haven't really made any worthwhile comments (or even witty comebacks at that) so go have fun starting your "racing teams" and I'll go back to driving my Neon with my gay autistic self eating filet mignons lol.

Do your fucking homework dipshit. The "Lancer" is a watered down version of the much superior Evo. The evo has been around for probably longer than you have been out of diapers. The Evo has only been available in the USA for a few years but has been available elsewhere around the world for many many years.

You're retarded. The Lancer Evolution has been out since 1992. Notice we have Evo 8 and 9's here?!?! They started importing 8's in 03 to America and have had them everywhere since 92. Before the Evolution there was the Galant VR-4 which was the Mitsu rally car.

And the lancers that rally are evolutions and old gsr's from the 70s which were rwd. -1 for being ignorant as fuck.
