Yeah my maintenance required only comes on for regular maintenace issues.. ie oil change, timing belt... If its engine realted or something broke, my check engine light comes on..

Yup^ thats how it works...the maintance required light means its time for oil change etc....by how many miles....when your check engine light comes on, then you need to get something fixed.Originally Posted by silver
