It does, but I kind of like it, I kinda prefer the symmetrical look (the bumpy thing on the 2g hood always threw me for a loop).

And I do agree, I intend to find myself an AWD 2g at some point to tune and use for a race car. Tinkering on the 3g is very very complicated and I don't understand half the crap I've done. On the other hand, the 4G64 is incredibly reliable, and I want it to bear my children.

Haha, I hear you on that. I plan on getting me one of the 3g spyders eventually also. Its a nice cruising car for the summer.

Yeah see even you signature tells you what kind of eclipse the guy should get. All that work and mid 200s.

    1g awd/2g awd

    550s
    2g maf
    boost controller
    fuel pump
    safc
    3in exhaust
    decent clutch

    300 whp and mid-high 12s.

Makes sense to me. And if you're real picky the 6 bolt 1g gank is a tad more reliable and the 1g head flows better, while th 2g manifolds and electronics are better. So make the best of both worlds, be like me:

    1g 6 bolt
    1g ported head
    2g manifold

If you can find a nice 1g laser awd (kinda rare) with a 6 bolt crank and 4 bolt lsd rear end, thats the 1g to get.

Wow that was alot of info I gave you without being a smart ass.

Summary: If you cant do a clean 1g/2g then don't do one at all. Especially if you cant do one equal to or better than Alex (silverjester) or a clean 1g at all, then just get a 3g or 4g. No need ruining a nice turbo awd somebody else could do better.
