    from my understanding, the term "rice" came from imports. hot rod and muscle car guys would call the modified import "4bangers", "pocket rockets", "rice burners" and "ricers". now, we use it to refer to over done modified cars. big wings, big stickers, nasty body kits, anything APC, etc. are rice to most. there's even differant genres of rice, i.e. asian rice, mexican rice, white rice

    come to gainesville. most of the modified cars here are rice, and mostly mexican rice

    Hah...I used to go to school in Gainsville. I saw them left and right. Aren't some referred to as "beaners"? You know...13" gold wire wheels on a red and brown Dodge Stratus with a cheap vinyl top and an aluminium spoiler.
