    Pump gas has a lower octane rating. The higher the octane, the more resistance to knock.

    On a motor that is strung out already like an s2k you don't need incredibly high octane to get big numbers. The motor has high compression and on most of those turbo setups that don't lower the compression the turbo is smaller and it works out.

    yeahh, i see how it is...everyone just ignores my answer :jerkit: Compare a [2.0 liter] SR20DET that puts out 160-180hp stock to the S2000's normally aspirated 2.0 liter F20C that's producing 240hp.
