quick question

ok so a friend of mine got into an accident and needs a new front bumper hood and lights. his year is a 98 civic, i had a guy tell me that he would sell me 99 si hood fenders front bumper and head lights. now from what i hear they are differnt models, but, if he has the fenders hood front bumper and lights, would you be able to put it on that year?

Yup it what some may refer to as a 99-00 front end conversion... shouldt be a problem..

Might want to get a Grille too...

92-95 are classes together
96-98 fronts are the same
99-00 fronts are the same
96-00 sides and back are the same.

yup, cause i sold my Si front to a guy who had a 98 front end and we just ended up swapping hoods, fenders, headlights and bumpers and he gave me 350.00.
i perfer the 98 only cause i seen more options for it thenthe 99-00....but the market now is to where almost everythign for 96-98 is available for the 99-00

LIRL, its all good homie, just be sure all teh front components are the same, if not, your fitment will leave spaces, like 98 headlights on a 99 hood...one thing you'll notice too, the 98 fenders cut a lil more then the 99 fenders ( cause the 98 headlights are smaller)

oh ok yeah me and this otehr guy were having a dispute over whether or not it would fit, i figured the head lights might come into play but i wasnt sure so thats why i asked all of this, but again i appreciate it

thats what i was saying. if the components arent the same, the 99-00 front end wont work out.

yeah thanks einstein i knew that...thats why i was asking IF you got the nessasary parts, i.e. front bumper head lights fenders, that it would fit.
