if you are having someone else install this then you dont deserve either engines.. b18c5 is usually meant for better gearing on auto-x and track courses. the k series engine is just hard as hell to modify the engine bay and mounts so look at spending 10 grand if someone installs it or 7 grand if you do it yourself and set aside about 5 weekends for this project.

#1 your an idiot to pay someone $10,000 to do this swap. Or any swap for that matter.

#2 You can be frugal and do it for less than 7

K20 DC5R swaps are going for $5500-6500. Add $1000 for Kpro, $500 for mounts $500 for misc stuff like hoses, belts, etc. then factor in labor, which would be around $1000.

    thats right at $10k

    >>same method....but adding more aftermarket parts...hihi ...or instead of a wrecked Type S ....be patient and look for a wrecked TSX...

theres probably more parts for a b18c5 since its been around longer. plus any b series part should be compatible. then again k series are pretty cool. if money ain't no thang then flip a coin.

b-series is still cheaper and aftermarket parts are everywhere.that 6 speed tranny sounds tempting though.

i would swap a k20a depending on the car.. if it was a civic eg or ek i'd do k20.

if it was an integra DA or DC2 i would do b18c5 swap
