    my mom and my wife has put it on me to pick out a welder for my dad,my uncle and me . I asked some guys I know about what I should look for and I found this one at Home Depot what do you guys think? we are gonna use it to weld on cars, a trackor, your basic repairs, and maybe a roll cage or two.

    i have a lincoln SP135T, which is pretty much the same setup. i've used it to fab all sorts of bits for the car/truck and it's very easy to work with. just don't bother with that crappy flux core crap, get a tank and some standard wire and let the fun begin.

    btw, get a real helmet, self-darkening if you can afford it.... they are 10x easier to work with.

    gas is the best investment.. go ahead and get a tank and some mig wire. core flux welding isnt worth shit
