im about to put a b18b1 in my car and i was wanting to know how many qaurts of transmission fluid it will need? and what from my engine will work on it? such as AC compressor hoses, power steering hoses, motor mounts and all that. also will the LS computer i got be able to hook up into my cars inside wiring harness?

you will need a dffrent AC braket i belive... and it should be plug and play if the b18b1 is ODB1 you can use the shift linkage and axels and mounts from the integra.
    good luck

If it a 94-95 LS motor u r good direct swap... U don't have to worry about OBD.....

Use parts from ur d16z6 motor as far as brackets and other little things....

    Good luck

I did the same swap in my civic. it was very easy. had the d16z out and the b18b in and running within 7 hours.

if you want to use the ac u will need the ac bracket from a b16 delsol. bout 75 bucks at junkyard.

yeah it pushes the compressor to far off the block. u will need the LS transmission mount and rear mount, as well as axles and shift linkage. U can use your stock d16z right side mount ( i polished mine...the mount is solid aluminum). if you have and EX model civic you can plug the wire harness directly into the ecu. The swap was really a sinch...

if you can bring the motor out from the bottom and bring the LS through the bottom as well. it is so much easier than trying to take it in and out of the top.

    good luck

i have the shift linkage, waiting to get axles, and i have all the motor mounts, may not have the back one, not sure. along with the ls ECU. someone said if i use my normal ecu it doesnt have the same fuel ratios and something like that. im trying to get my friend to take me to the junkyard he took the car to, so i can go get anything else i need.

........i got my clutch off to change it, and behind the clutch disk, is the pressure place? well it has the 8 bolts close to the center. then the lil bearing in the middle. well the shield fell off the bearing, and i noticed there was a little over half the bearings in it. but they alllll fell out after a while. is there a way i can fix it, or will i have to buy something.

ok i got a question, i have a the obd1 ls motor, harness and ecu. but parts of the wiring harness are cut or ripped. someone said i could you my wiring harness and it would be fine because i have a 95 civic ex. i would just have the vtec plugs extra on it. will my d16 harness work just as good? i heard something about it doesnt and now i have heard it does so i am just checking.

use the wirng harness form your can is fine you will have to cut and strech some of the wires. yes it works fine i have done this swap in my civic 2 times now and i just put a gsr in it a few weeks ago and i am still using a dx wiring harness. also you will need the rear Vtec delsol mount. if your ls is has the starter and all that than you will not need to buy it; however if your ls does not have these things you will need them also..... it has been about 5 years sence i did the first swap so i may be forgeting some stuff.
