still waiting to see what engine, drivetrain they throw in it.....it better be either a 4.5 or a 3.5 TT and i would hope they would use ATTESA or some variation of it.

Rumors lean toward 3.5-3.7L Twin Turbo but who knows, and yes plenty of time to save.

honestly i dont care if they call it an infinity or nissan as long it is still the skyline. The only thing i hope is that the ones in japan and the us are going to be the same thing.

Nissan, Infinity......whatever. It won't be wearing any of those badges anyway right? They gonna stick with the GT-R one. But yeah I think it is better that Infinity will sell it cuz few people are gonna be willing to spend $65,000 for a Nissan....

wow, and yes i have no doubt we'll get a DE tuned version for over here but hey, thats what everything here has been but its ok, cause the one thing i learned from boosted cars is, its its not fast enough spin a knob on that little controller and you're faster

    Worst statement ever.

BTW-The G35 Sedan already comes available with AWD....the G35x....so why would it be so different? Because it will have more cats than the JDM one, like the WRX and Evo? What a ridiculous arguement.

the X version is only a 5spd auto version hence no fun, however i agree with the more cats thing also you know they will mess with timing, cam ish, intake design, pointless shit to -2 hp here and -1 hp there for ya..... but if the X is every available in the Stick you better believe i'd own that ish!

I'll take "Things I already know because I work at Infiniti" for a thousand, Alex.

"The G35x and the GTR have this in common, making it easier for Infiniti to bring the GTR here"

    "What is AWD?"

    DING!

VQ32DETT is what has been hinted at by Nissan more than anything else. (that's a twin turbo 3.2L V6)

It will be AWD with ATTESA.

The suspesion will be tuned by both Lotus and NISMO.

And it will be the shit.

About damned time Nissan brought the GTR back to their product lineup. They came out with the Skyline 350GT and just did away with the GTRs when the R34 died ... so sad. Ah well, at least now we're finally getting it.

And what is so wrong about the G35x having the automatic tranny? Just flick the stick over to manual mode and drive it like a stick. Hell, I think they even have paddle shifters (can't remember if my uncle's G35 does) so then you can keep both hands on the wheel and not crash when you're trying to be mad d0rifto cool.

I haven't looked at the 06's yet, but the older ones don't.

The G35x doesn't have the manumatic shifters? Weird ... my uncle got his G35 in an automatic so his wife could drive it ... but he got a nice compromise. He got a Porsche 911 about a year or two later Even with the auto, the G35 is still pretty damn fun.

I agree. I drove different G35s, stick and auto (and even an FX35) for 2 weeks and I still enjoyed the autos, but the 6 speeds were my preference.
