I wondering if FRAM is good oil filter my s2k. I heard it doesn't filter fast enough if your on track and its just for basic cars.

is this spam?????
dont put fram filters on anything that has an engine and uses oil. If you put a fram on an s2000 you do not deserve to own an s2000

Fram is partially owned by a person who also owns a paper company. Fram filters are 1 of only about 3 other companies that make a filter that is made almost entirely of paper. Even though fram has a major marketing presence, they are arguably the absolute worst filter that you could purchase for you car.... literally any filter you grab off the shelf, even the generic ones, will most likely be a better filter. the paper breaks and bends allowing unfiltered oil to remix with filtered oil. Fram filters have little to no filtering values in addition to paper particles being released back into your oil.
K&N , Purolator, mobil, or Wix is what you should be using.
Moved to correct forum.

Bocsh and FRAM is what i been using but now returning my other 2 FRAM oil filters i bought.
I didnt know for sure so its why i checked before i started hitting the track with a FRAM filter . I swapped out with a Bosch filter , so it hoping Bosch is a lot better for my s2k.

Yeah don't use FRAM. I've used them before on cheap Hondas and never had an issue, but since have only used Mobil 1, it's cheap security.
Or you can step into baller territory and start using Amsoil Signature Series and the Amsoil filter
I use Kendall.
I always use Mobile1 usually cheaper and last way longer without worry depends on the type of filter from the maker you buy.
confirmed. Amsoil puts their label on Hastings filters. Nothing against the filter, it IS a high quality filter.... but amsoil doesnt make it, just slaps their logo on it. Theyre made in the USA.
Little side by side of the same part #
And for giggles....... fram equivalent
and in case you were also wondering....
K&N you say?
and just in case you thought that K&N was gonna be the top dog....... THINK AGAIN........
Amsoil filter and oil is hard to find and don't want to order it every time i change my oil .
