ok, my car is a 99 mercury cougar. I have already replaced the battery and alternator. a week ago i drove to class one morning and back. then later that day I went to give my roommate a ride and my car would not crank. One click, no turn, nothing. took my batter in the next day and it checked out fine, car still won't crank. I call the tow truck and he comes, asks about the car, hops in the car, and cranks it right up. and now it cranks up just fine.

well just a lil bit ago i went to krystals to get some food. on the way back my car cuts off on me 3 times. just went dead as I was decelerating. the car cranked back up, except on the 2nd time it struggled to get cranked up. a couple weeks ago I had my alternator checked and it was puttin out 14 someodd volts which is fine. so what the hell is wrong with my car?
