yeah you can man, switch it up, but watch that Wideband gugae, if it goes above 11.5 then get off the throttle, Ill work on it friday

And are you talking zbout the purple wire? It activates WOT stuff, but i dunno how to hook it up, no guidelines about it. Nor does it mention anywhere about it except in the programming.

Yeah don't disconnect hoses with hot ass coolant after the car has been on a while.

Check your turbos oil lines and tighten them when the car is cold.

not too sure on that turbo. A buddy had one on his 1g laser and it hardly made any more power then his old 16g. You should have gone old school and got a 20g...just ask sleeping talon about the bushcur 20g..badass turbo for a dsm. It just sucks they are so expensive new but i've been trying to find one used for my dsm.

Yeah, the Buschur 20g is a great turbo. Ah Conrad..I remember those days...hehe. It was nice to have a good street car once! You need to get the one with the 6cm housing though for it to truly run its ass off. The 50trim is a great turbo though if it's tuned properly. It's cheaper than the 20g, and it'll make more power with almost identical spool on the .48 housing. I would port the .48 to death, and put that on there for optimal performance. The next step up is the .63, so somewhere inbetween those two is a pretty sweet spot on a stock 2.0. Of course, you can also buy the 50trim in ball bearing trim now, and ironically enough, it's the same price as the journal bearing version, go figure. So, ideally, I would just get the 50trim, ball bearing, with the .63. That should run really well, and still make power at like 25-26psi.

im not going crazy, and tomorrow after school(second time having daillight, first time having---TIME) ill check it out. not driving it works out though, saves me gas money...and im not putting miles on it, who is complaining? if u wanna come check it out tomorrow uhhh post here or something, my phone is disconnected(hopefully sprint will fix it tomorrow), if not i can wait till friday no big deal. my power steering is still doing bad(it's completely full, but makes noise like a freight train when turning). there is a bad leak of something in that area, but it was 10pm at night when i saw it adn the only light i had came from my cell phone. ill let you know.

How big is the feed line, -3? Anything bigger will blow the seals out on that turbo, just FYI. Where are you getting the feed from, the head or the filter housing? The power steering pumps leak on these cars all the time. It's probably the O-ring in the pump, so if you remove it and get the O-ring out, you can probably just match it up and put a new one in. I will warn you though, that it needs to be exact or it'll still be screwed up. Other than that, you can just go buy another one, but this way is much more cost effective.

lol power steering has to be leaking too, it was almost out of fluid after i let it sit for a while

its a -4 i believe, from teh filter housing, and another from the head, it required 2 lines

That turbo has water jackets? Interesting, as almost all the hybrids use just oil...Just so you know, in my experience, and you can check the tech threads on Gadsm, but, -4 is too big, especially coming from the filter housing. -4 is ok to get from the head, but the oil pressure is almost always too high to get from the filter housing. 125psi with a -4 blows the seals right out.

well, it came with teh plug for the water line from the block, and came with an additional line that threads into the line where the water line would, then to the filter hosing, per the instructions that came with the PTE turbo, asys that if its not ran from the filter housing, warranty is voided. I used all hte items that the install kit came with, even the new bolts nad lock washers.

so a plume of smoke later, i figure out the return oil line is tweeked and loose, so i trimmed the hose to take out the kink, fixed the loose part and now the smoke is gone

however the PS resivoir is overflowing and the pump is making bad noises, i think its goingout,

But one ticket later for 14 over, 18lbs of boost, (cant get it higher) The need to resolder a resister in teh MAFT, and some more tuning, it will be better soon. ALl projects take time

what job can you have at 17 that pays out that type of money to afford all that. Fuck i am almsot 19 and with a full time job, i still couldnt fork out that amount of cash. But maybe since my parents dont pay for everything i have $500 worth of bills a month, not including gas!

exactly. i make maybe 150 a week, and my only bills are food and gas, and...bad habits/going out on weekends and what not. that was all from a little over a year of saving. plus a tranny rebuild and other mods.
