Is there really much of a difference in black widow, viper, or any other alarms; and if so then could you inform me of what is the best buy. 95 gsr integra coupe.

They are all made by Directed Electronics or DEI. Brains are very similar, just brand name difference....
Okay, I am getting one ASAP and was just wondering if spending $100 on a viper or more on a widow would really make much difference.Originally Posted by aaronfelipe

For you car i'd suggest several hidden switches more than anything...![]()
I have a Viper, used to be a really great alarm until my first wreck after I put it on. Before the wreck it was VERY sensitive! The range that it could be activated was amazing too. I could go behind buildings, etc and activate it/disarm it. After the wreck it seemed like it wasn't even there at times. I actually managed to get in my car a few times before the alarm went off. Oh well though
I like viper but planning on going with audiovox because of the options it comes with.
Thanks for the input guys. I will grab the $200 model and get a friend to help me install it. I'll probably place the wiring under my dash for extra precautions, since you can't ever be too safe. I'll go with the Viper alarm since none really are too different, and it has trunk hatch, hood, windows, or whatever you want.
i'm rockin the viper with a bunch of other precautions...question, if the wiring is not under the dash where would it be?!Originally Posted by static

It could be out in the open... have wiring under the carpet if I wanted to go that route.Originally Posted by speedminded
any DEI product is prolly the best buy.. black widow alarms are crap in my opinion.... if you really wanna go all out... i say clifford or avital alarms... those would be the higher end of DEI systems.
ARE YOU DOWN WITH THA BROWN???
