Check your shift linkage before you do anything. Happend to a bud of mine, car wouldnt go into 2nd and was just generally hard to shift. If you do decide to change the clutch do it right. Like everyone says, if you have time to do it the wrong way you better have time to do it twice. replace the pressure plate, disk, throwout bearing. shouldnt have to replace the clutch fork itself unless it is bent or something.
