    Default Engine Check Light Question **Integra

    Aight, My engine check light just turned on when I was driving and I dont know why, cause tha teg is running fine the engine doesn't smell when I Opened the hood and everything looks normal and the car is driving great. :confused:

    what is the cause?

    check the code... if its obd2 then go to autozone or advance auto parts... if obd1 look it up on the internet how to read the code.
    If it doesn't fit force it. If it breaks it was meant to be upgraded!
    If it doesn't break you wern't driving hard enough!

    obd1 and 2 you can jump the serv conn in the pass footwell. long blink=10, short blink=1. there is a long pause between codes. example: 1 long and 3 short=code 13. look in a haynes/chiltons/helms and see what that code is, or look up on the internet.

    if you're obd2 and too lazy to do it yourself they can scan it from the data port and tell you what's wrong.
