What's the easiest way to remove older vinyl?
I've gotten a lot off with razors but it's VERY time consuming and the residue is left behind. I've tried buffing it and stuff but it just doesn't do much for the amount of time I spend.
Any suggestions?

xylene, do it in the shade and get it off the paint quick. it will melt the goo and it can be buffed off with a microfiber towel.

Heat gun...
It’s just the good ol’ boy in me
I got my friends I got the recipe
For one hell of a life
I got my girl got my family
Got my booze and that’s all I need
For a hell of a time
HELLYEAH!
Heat gun doesn't work.
I've used a razor blade, then brake cleaner, then dry buffed it and am having great results. They're too old to be using a heat gun it won't just peel off.
fingernail and soapy water to get the vinyl off. Then use 3m adhesive remover or sticker shot to get the residue off.
