    Default Wheel paint Removing

Ok i know a good quick way is to use the air craft paint remover.
My question is has anyone ever used it on a rim while tire was still mounted ?
I ask cause i didn't know if it would ruin the tires or not....

that is some nasty stuff. it goes through plastic like butter. Tires might hold up better...

maybe put a bead of ky jelly/vaseline around the tire to protect it if you must put paint remover with the tire still on. it should wash off pretty easy when you are doing a final scrub down before paint.

If you spray on the KleanStrip Air Craft paint remover onto wheels with tires still mounted you should be fine. I have done it on my own set of wheels.
