    Default Third alternator in 2 months!!! whats wrong?

    ok, i have a problem and i dont know what it is. on my way to work today, my alternator light came on so i pulled over and pulled the + cable to see if it would turn off, and it did! so that means the alternator is bad. now this is the 3rd alternator that has gone bad on me and the lifetime warranty only covers it for ONE free replacement, any other time you will have to buy another one and im tired of buying them. what can the problem be? i checked all grounds and fuses, belt tension, connections and everything but i cant find whats making them go bad. any advice?

    i dont think revving to 9k is a problem for a altenator.........or is it?
