    The revving isn't the problem. I meant that It will keep revving in high rpms a little bit before it will change gear. I took it out for a spin yesterday and the problem seems to not be there for now. It isn't completely bad right now, I just knew it wasn't acting right.

    I misunderstood what you said in your original post. 94' was a buffer year between the electronic, and the cable operated transmission. It sounds as if you have the cable operated transmission, and the throttle valve/ cable, or the governor could be sticking, causing a late shift.

    Find out which transmission you have, and we can go from there.
