Is a B20 hard to tune????

Oh ok so I been trying to figure out what motor I wanna go wit and I been thinking bout going wit a b20z/maybe vtec....... I was looking around at a couple motors today and a guy ask me what am looking for and i told him well he said the b20 are hard too tune....... well i wanna know how true is that

cylinder walls are thinner then an LS due to being 84mm bore, they are more prone to cracking, but a lot of people have had good luck with them under low boost with a good tune. Tune is the key. Scotty is the key maker....

import exp in winder had a pretty nasty b20 v t. mony is a really good tuner too

My b20b on 8lbs made 257 whp on a conservative tune,and it handle well,I now am working on doing a b20v-t but with that I will need to sleeve and change my rods for safety reasons

to answer the OP question, they are no harder or easier to tune than any other engine that honda makes. They are just as tunable as a GSR or ITR or LS or B16.

NA they are fine no real issues
Boost they are fun under 250whp, over that they are prone to cracking a sleeve. Some are lucky some are not

Oh ok I kinda figure that..... just alot of people in my area having problems wit them running rich or lean.... Thats why they been saying that........... But am sticking a B20 am sure i can figure it out..........

Of course it's harder, it has 2.0 liters!

.. More the liters means more time on tune ..
