G60 G-Lader Rebuild Question

I have an 86 Gti with a G60 under the hood. I was thinking about getting the G-Lader rebuilt soon, with intentions of sending it to Kompressor Kanada. But a friend said there are some spots locally that I could get it rebuilt, is that true or just a myth?

Not sure if any of the local shops actually rebuild G-laders or not but you might have better luck posting that question on VW Vortex.

Tons of VW knowledge there. Most people on IA who would know G60's spend more time on the Vortex anyway.
