Default B20vtec Idling at 4k wtf?

I cranked up my b20v and it sputters and puffs and then after you rev it up it stays at about 4k rpm with the throttle body being closed. anybody have any idea what it could be?

make sure the throttle cable moves freely and not too tight, keeping the TB open.

Also try checking for any vacuum leaks on the intake manifold.

IMO one of a few things. your Idle screw is either way off or not there at all. MAJOR vac leak, busted Tb gasket

LOL naw that was me dude and i had a small vacuum leak that caused mine to idle at 2500 it was the intake mani gasket so check the throttle cable or for vacuum leaks just spray starter fluid everywhere!
