    Default hey quick question about bmw

    oka I am noob to bmws so please be very detailed and treat me as i know nothing but I was about to trade my teg for a 94 325i bmw 6 cylinder then the guy told me that car needs exhaust cam and timing chain. I assume timing chain broke but i know in hondas if timing belt breaks valves bend but in bmw what could of or did happen
    how difficult is it to change cam and timimng chain

    You need some1 that knows what he is doing, Timing in BMW engine is not to play with since the have all-time variable timing (cam(s) advance or retards).

    I the timing chain broke most of the valves are gone, and your pistons provably are damage too. The chain that connects the Exhaust cam with the crank also drives the intake cam.
