i think my car has a problem. ok it runs, idles well but it seems low on power. maybe its cause im used to the torque of my last car or something but it seems like it pulls hardest in like the last 1000rpm of the 8000rpm band.is this normal or is there someething wrong

i wanted another honda, and this one was in mint condition. is it normal to feel all the power in the extreme end of the rpm band?

by 8k, your power should be dropping off

its like 7k and below its slow but 7k and above it really moves. i guess its because im used to a lot of low end tourqe which this car has virtually none. and friend of mines says most hondas are like that

Yes it's normal you have a b16 that makes 130whp. It will feel fastest from 6000-8000rpms cause it has no torque
it has to rev high to make power, get used to it
