    I know from personal experience that the d-series mechanical VSS will work in a b-series cable trans. ( bswap in an EF) I've done a couple that way. If you put the two side-by-side there's a slight difference in the depth of the plastic drive gear, but it works just fine.

    same goes for the electric VSS

    ok i changed the gear shaft in two diff. sensors and nothing. i unpluged the cluster and pluged it back up. then i looked at the sensor clip looks like theres a little light blue corrosion. and don't want to buy a new one and still not works. if there is anymore ideas would help alot thanks
